Cellular Polycarbonate

Cellular, or, as it is also called, cellular polycarbonate is a unique material consisting of several parallel horizontal walls, connected by perpendicular ribs, forming void spaces in the form of honeycombs. It is the most reliable, durable and widespread polymer material. The sheets of this product have impressive technical characteristics and are successfully replacing glass in the production of greenhouses, advertising structures and other construction projects.

Advantages of cellular polycarbonate:
Good thermal insulation, resistance to temperature changes. The structure allows it to maintain its properties at temperatures ranging from -40 to + 80ºC. The average service life is 10-15 years. In practice, the material is able to cope with its duties for several decades.
Light weight of the elements. The sheets weigh much less glass and plexiglass, which makes them easier to use. At the same time, prices remain within reasonable limits.
Free penetration of light. Light penetration allows you to create unique lighting effects and unusual designs. Colored panels (blue, green, red and others) can transmit up to 55% of light, transparent – more than 85%.
Strength. Polycarbonate sheets are 200 times stronger than glass. They are able to withstand the strongest mechanical stress, while maintaining performance indicators at a high level.
Security. This material does not crack on impact, it begins to melt only at very high temperatures. It does not ignite and does not emit harmful toxic substances.
Applications of cellular polycarbonate
Such material is acquired for different purposes. The most popular applications are:

Agriculture (hotbeds and greenhouses in summer cottages, winter gardens, greenhouses, fences, gazebos, verandas, outdoor shower);
Construction (awnings, glazing in industrial workshops, canopies, noise protection screens for highways and highways, partitions in bathrooms and showers, door glazing, office partitions, car awnings);
Advertising and design (showcases, stands, illuminated advertising, trade pavilions, architectural compositions for the interior).
